I had a little crisis this morning…
until James reined me back in.
I had a short email from a lady asking me how I healed from 13 years of M.E. (CFS). She said she had it herself and naturally, wanted to get better.
It suddenly occurred to me that maybe James and I had gone in the completely wrong direction in writing and promoting a book called Habit Guide. Maybe we should have focused on “How to Overcome Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.”
So crisis! For a moment it was massive.
James reminded me that the message we have is bigger than one specific problem and that the message we have can help people to overcome all sorts of problems. He was right. I just needed reminding in that little moment of crisis.
The reason is that it’s always your body that does the healing and what’s needed, in general is to provide the conditions in which to allow that to happen.
People put so much faith in science. But science isn’t even beginning to understand the incredible complexity with which your amazing body maintains its balance. When the flowchart is finally mapped out, showing all those connections between hormones, chemical and electrical messages and how that interacts with your DNA, food, enviromental factors and so-on, it will need to be on a piece of paper the size of the United States!
Our job, YOUR job is to check those health boxes every day, so that your body can function properly.
The truth is that what will heal chronic fatigue syndome will heal arthritis, depression and obesity to name but three. It’s all one cause.
Our mindset is that “something suddenly went wrong” but in reality, your body can no longer maintain its balance because of years, decades of not checking enough health boxes.
Checking health boxes day-in-day-out means getting habit power on your side. Using your natural tendancy to create habits means this can not only become effortless, but has the power to create health and happiness on a level you may not have experienced since you were a child.
Habit focus is the the way to go.
So, my crisis was over quite quickly…
Phew!
I hurt for 13 years. It was hell... torture... feeling very bad for a very long time. And that had a devastating effect on every aspect of my life.
With the little energy and focus I had, I hunted for answers. In fact I spent twenty YEARS trawling for answers. You can just imagine the trying, and stumbling, the desperation and frustration...
But now I've seen BOTH extremes of life... from wanting to die every day to the joy of health and happiness. The truth is that all my suffering drives me with a passion to help you not to suffer. Why I can't say, because it's just there, in me.
So don't make the same mistakes I did. Life is too short... I want you to feel good without falling into the pitfalls. I have this knowledge now and I would love you to have it.
