I have definitely done every diet! So, I follow your diet and advice and call it done… It works, I have been great!

So, thanks, now I know the real truth!!! That is what I just love about Habit Guide. You have no need to promote some particular viewpoint-just the truth with integrity….

Thank you for your AWESOME responses to my questions…omigod I realized what a small little mind I have! HA! Where did you get this ability to distill all of this complex stuff into such simple straight forward answers?!

Honestly you are like an interpreter….and I have to say THANK YOU! I get it! Really I have concluded I am finally FREE.

Thanks for the clarity, candour, and compassion: your calm resonates and is just oh, so reassuring! And, damn you make everything just so simple! That is your talent you know. Everyone I run into is going to hear about you!!!

Thank you Mike and James for Habit Guide! I have been reading each step with interest. I think I am very fortunate and am appreciating being armed with these tools to help me with my own personal drive to achieve my health goals. I now have some for the first time in 50 years!!

You know sometimes the message is there but folk have a dry way of passing it on.. it doesn’t work for me then! You’re both such lovely characters and you deliver the whole Habit Guide in such an endearing way, its lovely.

A wealth of knowledge about healthy living presented in an easy, friendly format. Thanks for bringing some order in my chaos :-)

I ~~love~~ Habit Guide! Your writing style is excellent and the content is really helpful. I identify with the chocoholic example… yum. It’s certainly one of those books that I will be re-reading… I love it!! I can only imagine the amount of time and effort that went into that.

Thanks Mike for a great book! It really is the first I have seen that actually addresses the whys and hows of our habits.

It is also sound from a psychological therapy stand point, (I am a psychologist, but I am certainly not immune to my own bad habits around food!). I really got a lot out of reading Habit Guide today and plan to put it into action!

It’s smart and savvy information in a very user friendly format. As a psychologist I found the guide beautifully simple and on-target. Thanks for this pearl of wisdom. You are fabulous! Please let me know how I can ever assist you in the future, your work is dead-on.

With Habit Guide as a trusty resource, you *can* get in shape, and finally become master of your habits once and for all.

They have some truly unique insights to share, and I really feel that
the guide makes for very interesting reading. Habit Guide truly is a wonderful resource, and I highly recommend it to all!

It’s in answering the question of how to live well that Habit Guide fits so perfectly. Mike has developed a brilliant resource that provides a roadmap to building good habits. A two week blitz of eating perfectly and exercising is not going to change your health long-term.

Instead it’s through building habits—daily and weekly practices—that you can change your health… which is the beauty of Habit Guide.

Having tried to change everything in one go before (and then giving up cos it all seemed too hard) this guide has helped me realise that I was being too unrealistic. I think the Habit Guide will help me set better goals for myself-so thanks!

  12. Roni

Honestly, I was a little hesitant at first as eBooks are just not my thing. The ones I’ve seen were just really poorly done. But I have to admit I like what I read…

It’s a good hard look at how to make good habits and I think it goes hand and hand with this whole overwhelming diet feeling a lot of us have.

I just get excited when I am able to read a book now, nod my head and say, yup, that is it, that’s what I did. Now it makes sense!

  13. LMG

    Hi Mike and James,

I bought the book and am already loving it. I am one of those people who always says “That’s a nice thought, but HOW do I do it?” I need the step-by-step breakdown and this is full of what I need.

    Thanks!

  14. Leo

I just read Habit Guide. It’s easy to read, use and navigate through and it’s suitable for anyone who wants better health.

My favorite part of the book is ‘Understand the power of habit’. That part gave me a few ‘Aha!’-moments as it brought up things I knew about (but that I never really gave any thought to) in a new light. You can tell that you have life experience.

  15. Anna Lozyk Romeo

Your book is excellent. I am not done reading yet, but what I have read so far is excellent. The book is well organized, excellent thought process.

You have nailed important root cause, the bad habit, and if we all go back and analyse our bad habits it is a good start.

It is too bad that marketing is letting people over look that, and tries to fix many issues with supplements like weight, and the one that kills me the most is wrinkles, lol. Thank you!

  16. Sten Andersen

You’re very clear and readable on some deep psychological issues on habit formation. And you make the processes that go on in the brain easily understandable.

One concept on page 24 made me think about completely new ways I can quit my bad habits. You’ve got a no-nonsense way of keeping it simple and just getting it done. But not only that, you show us how to make the good stuff fun and easy! And that’s what we all need, isn’t it?

  17. Elisabeth Howard

    Hi James

Thank you for your kind response to my email. It was reassuring to discover that there is an actual real live person there instead of the plastic nonentity that one is up against with a lot of websites!

I have bought and had a quick look this evening at the Habit Guide. It is very clearly and thoughtfully set out and I shall look forward to studying it in more depth.

    Best wishes
    Elisabeth

This is a fantastic guide to changing your lifestyle through improving your
nutrition and losing weight. It provides some really clear and simple advice to help you change for good. A really good book to read if you’ve struggled to stick to a plan.

Habit Guide is a true gem, empowering you to take your life into your own hands.

  21. Liz McGinness

Habit Guide is an excellent ‘quick-start’ to move from despairing over a long term negative habit to actually ‘doing’ something to overcome it! The practical, friendly and sometimes humorous advice in these pages are akin to having a gentle teacher/personal trainer who helps you get started. Habit Guide accompanies you on the journey of ridding ourselves of repetitive, destructive habits that do not provide the relief we seek but rather, accumulate even more unhappiness and frustration in their path. Get started, get living, get in the HABIT!

Congratulations on showing the way forward to a healthy and joy filled life. Happy days for one and all :-)

In addition, this and the last Habit Guide comes with the human factor. A fabulous pair of Guides in Mike and James.

Habit Guide is one of the best books that I have read. I was motivated to act from the very first line. I am a Bach Flower Remedy Practitioner and in my work I find that it is the habits of behaviour that block us and hold us back. Habits can be difficult to break especially if we do not even realise we have them. Habit guide is a tool that you can use to help you to recognise your blocks and habits. Personally I have found the information invaluable and I will pass its message onto my clients. I feel that I would not be offering a complete service if I did not share the knowledge about this guide.

Mike you have a brilliant way of saying things. It is like someone flipped the switch (you) and and now I know that health is the most important thing and I can choose to abuse or support my body. It is easy to remember the key points and to put them into action. Certainly for me I think that they are brilliant, classic, unique, I just think that they are so simple so easy to put into place.

For example, I always have chocalate after dinner and lunch and have wanted to break this habit for years, even when on a detox I have eaten chocolate. I have taken sugar craving supplements and defied them. So I decided to try out [Habit Guide technique] and it worked. It has worked for three days now. I am thrilled!

I have 2-3 cups of coffee a day and physically know that they are no good for me and never manage to stay off it for long and it is always difficult. I tried [another Habit Guide technique] on this one and I laughed out loud at work when coffee break came … It is brilliant, it really works!

This was really brilliant, normally I have them and I feel guilty and I eat more anyway because I deserve them or my cravings win out. I know that I will break these habits now which is brilliant.

Overall you have created a masterpiece. You are going to change so many peoples lives with this book.

    Great book, well done.

The habit guide is AMAZING!!! Cant rate it enough. Thank you so much Mike and James. I lost 6 stone (roughly 84 pounds to our American friends!) by using the guide. And I’m happier than ever. I never realised before how habitual I was and how those habits were contributing to my state of health. So using the guide I replaced my bad habits for good ones. I love going to the gym now and being active. And eating well seems like second nature. Before I thought I was destined to be sat on the sofa being fat but the guide TOTALLY changed my mindset.

I cant rate it highly enough. You guys are doing such great work. Some people dont even recognise me now (which I love).

Thank you SO much guys. I know there is at least one man in the world whose life has been TRANSFORMED by your wisdom…ie ME!!

    Thanks buddies!!

Making even simple lifestyle changes can be hard, but help is available. Mike Kinnaird struggled with his own serious health issues for thirteen years. Out of his experience, he has written Habit Guide. I have read his book and believe his advice is excellent.

This is a very useful guide to building good habits. I recommend it highly for anyone who wishes to work on improving any kind of habit!

    Mike/James:

I’ve been reading numerous books over the past few years as I’ve tried to get my life back to the way it once was. While a number of them had some very good parts, ALL of them were lacking in some other aspect. Habit Guide is one of the best, most comprehensive pieces I’ve ever read. THANK YOU for putting it all together in such a clear and percise way! Especially the part on Meditation; for me at least, this is the KEY for me getting back to where I once was (or even better, reaching a level never attained!).

Not to mention all the time/advice you guys have given to those who have read it and wanted to contact you to get even more. It’s a testament to you and Habit Guide that even professional health care givers like doctors find it so useful.

DEFINITELY the best thing I have ever read, and gotten the most out of.

    Thanks guys!

In spite of the fact that you may genuinely want to feel better and have more energy and vitality, the effort this takes can be daunting, especially if you’ve tried and failed in the past.

For some people living a healthy lifestyle seems so effortless, yet you may be finding every little change represents sacrifice and hard slog. Even keeping a positive mindset can be tough when you’re feeling depressed or not so good about yourself.

There must be a better way!

You’ll find a brilliantly articulated answer to this question in this short, but
powerful e-book entitled Habit Guide: How to be Happy and Healthy.

This work is a well-researched blueprint for developing constructive lifestyle habits. By first addressing the psychology behind our destructive habits, author Mike Kinnaird helps us understand so much more about ourselves and the processes involved.

In less than an hour you’ll gain rare insight into why habit is such a powerful force and how we can get our natural inclinations to work for us.

I am always on the lookout for little gems of information … unique perspectives that help me learn more about myself and about the science of wellness. This was certainly a pleasant surprise… informative, good value and to the point.

I enjoyed what I read and believe it to be a product that can really make
    peoples’ lives better. Great work!

  32. Judy Parnell

Mike – thank you for what you do and for helping me be the person that I am. At some level, I think we all know most of the information you write about, but it is tucked away – so very far away – that we no longer know it.

As I read what you write, I’m saying/thinking things like “of course!” or “yes – I know”. I repeatedly think “that’s what I thought”. I smile and begin to incorporate what you write and what I am rediscovering, into my life and I am a happier person for it!

I believe validation is one of the most important and helpful things a person can give someone. You have given me validation and I now live a better – happier life. Thank you! I personally have always had a problem with feeling validated (guess its something from my childhood). You have helped me see that my core beliefs are actually correct!

Maybe it is something we are born with – like ancient knowledge but like I said, it is buried sooo deep that most of us cannot tap into it. Through your writing, I believe we can all get in touch with our true self.

Keep it up – who knows where this all could lead!

I recently found and started using The Habit Guide to cure my body and brain. It is beautiful, excellent information. LOVE IT AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND this fabulous E-Book!

  34. John Woods

I just wanted to say that since I read this board and purchased the guide that to date I have had no issues at all. What you wrote cured me and I am totally amazed by it. I am so impressed with the results, I feel totally different and peaceful.

I would love to know where you got all your information from, as I have seen so many health professionals over my problems, but none has ever come close to the advice that you give. Thanks Mike you have honestly changed my life.

[John's comment refers to being cured of OCD]

First of all, I would like to thank you for your book “The Habit Guide”. It
really did motivate me but now with my busy schedule and the book out of sight, out of mind, I have fallen into the same old bad habits again. Thank you for emailing me and encouraging me. I will do as you say and re-read the book over and over until I own it. Again thank you.

I got more out of this program than any others offered.

  39. Ali Bay

I didn’t get the chance to thank you for your book. I really believe the secret behind being happy is to live the basic life that we have been given in accordance to our nature, i.e no bad food, good sleep, spirituality, get organized, exercise and few other things.

I find it sad how many people think our current daily life is the “way of nature” and to do exercise, eat fruits and get more organised is and “added bonus”. The truth says this is our way of life and that’s how it is suppose to be, our ancestors lived this life and it was a healthy life.

  40. MG

Wow, I really can’t thank you enough for helping me out and giving me great advice. It means a lot to me. I’m going to take everything you said to me and apply it to my daily life. Life is really too short to be anything but happy. You’re much better than a therapist. All they do is prescribe meds and tell you to give them money. I appreciate this greatly. I really can’t believe a person as caring as you would take the time to reach out to all these people that you don’t know. You’re great. :-)

  41. Carolyn M

Sometimes it is easier to blame something else, rather than take responsibility for myself, and be in charge of me. It is scary to think I may be causing my problems, and on the other hand, it is power to know it is me who can do something about me! I choose to use the power!

  42. FinallyFree

Man, oh man, I love you! You are dead on. You are so right about the thought process behind changing habits, and now I feel so excited to really read Habit Guide with ‘new eyes’ that are Finally Free to really benefit from the wisdom contained in it!!

Thanks Mike, I would reach through the internet and give ya a huge hug if I could!!

  43. Crystal

    Hello,

I wasn’t sure whether or not this was the proper way to give a comment, but I simply wanted to say Thank You. The weekly emails I receive are wonderful and truly do help. As a recent college graduate amidst an economic meltdown, I felt my uneasy emotions settling in, luckily I’m greeted with great emails that are not only motivating but eye opening as well.

It’s nice to have someone who is willing to spread the knowledge and joy! May God continue blessing you through out this wonderful journey called Life.

All the way from San Francisco CA,

I downloaded the newest update last night and started to read it. I have to admit, I’ve got 3 other copies of the guide, all past updates, but I never really READ the thing.

I have to say, I am truly impressed with what I’ve read so far. I can’t wait to read the rest. Thank you so much. What you have to say in the guide makes so much sense I can’t imagine why I didn’t “get it” before. Brain freeze maybe?

    Thanks again.

    Hello Mike

Its really a pleasure to tell you how much your “Habit guide” help me to bring a turning point in my life .It really helps to focus on positive things in life.
You know what even if we are aware of the fact that we should be positive and to be optimistic to be healthy , wealthy etc etc …. which our elders used to tell us, but at some point of time when we face some kind of setbacks , failures, out of control situations we begin to accept that life is really hard ,its not easy ,it’s a pain to get through etc etc.
But the good thing about your mail is that its like a sweet reminder to let us rethink and feel that its all about our attitude and our thoughts and it gives a positive energy to get back to life….and start thinking ” Oh ! I need to change my attitude towards life and need to think and feel good so have all the good things in life” and IT REALLY WORKS…..

Thank you Mike. Its really pleasure to read your mail everytime it comes.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Suchitra

    Hi Mike,

The information you provide every week is really really helpful. It is certainly inspiring and believe me, I wait every day for the week to pass and get your next Email. If the payment method through phone were available, I would definitely purchase your book. Your advices and instructions have helped me deal with many of my bad habits especially eating disorders. It doesn’t matter any more if I am losing weight or not but it feels so good being able to get rid of the bad eating habits and replace them with the good ones and I am sure that eventually I will lose weight as well.

Thanks for all your support, God bless you.
