The title really reveals an important and overlooked insight.
The important thing is not “What is a healthy lifestyle” but “How to…”
“How to” is missing information in the health field. We have access to more information at our fingertips that ever before and yet our health as a population is getting worse and worse.
Our focus is wrong, wrong, wrong. Because all you need to move forward is the next step. There’s a saying “An ounce of practice is worth a ton of theory.” In other words; a little bit of action is better than years of reading books. We’re victims of science, media and expert diet and health wars that create confusion in our minds about what we need to do. But you only need to know your next step.
So let’s do a ton of action to an ounce of theory and get the balance right…
I think you already know “what to do.” So I seriously suggest you put all the energy you spend on “what” into “how” instead. Let me put it this way… If I said to you “write down what you think is the ultimate healthy lifestyle” I reckon you’d do a pretty good job of it.
Is it that hard to figure out what? More exercise, more fruits and veg, better quality sleep, relaxation, a sense of purpose, fun? Any of these on your list?
“What” isn’t the big problem.
So while all the “experts” are worrying about what is optimum, you and I need to be taking action anyway.
The obstacles to you living a healthy life and enjoying the benefits of that, truly lie within the realm of “how.”
“How do you get yourself to exercise every day,” “How do you get yourself to eat quality food day-in-day-out,” “How can you discipline yourself to get to bed on time,” “How do you stop raiding the cookie jar.” This is what you need to know.
Write out your list “My healthy life.” It will probably be almost identical to the one in Habit Guide. My list (the one in Habit Guide) is the list I make it a habit to look at almost every day.
It inspires me to see it all laid out with motivational images that I connect with and that increase my desire for the benefits. Then with that ounce of theory, put in a ton of practice. Get that balance right and you’re on your way.
Once you’re totally clear about “what” (or at least your best guess, which is near enough) you need to know two crucial pieces of information…
Once you have both of these clear, you have the power to put your list into practice.
Another reason “what” is not so important, is that as you progress, move forward and enjoy the benefits of a healthy life which are enormous, your perspective changes. Then you’ll definitely start to see things more clearly, automatically set yourself new challenges and so-on.
Although “how” is the “ton of action,” I won’t pretend it’s easy and that’s why Habit Guide exists. There are many inner and outer obstacles you need to be aware of to really be efficient in getting to that effortless healthy life you really want.
Habit Guide taps into you — as a human being. What makes you tick, what drives you, taps your hopes and desires and helps you to put that into a clear plan of action.
Healthy living — and HOW to live a healthy life is about checking health boxes every single day.
There’s a great saying “Motivation is what gets you started but it’s HABIT that keeps you going.” That’s Habit Guide in a nutshell. Be clear, be motivated, take action and make those actions into habits.
That’s how you live an effortless healthy life.
I hurt for 13 years. It was hell... torture... feeling very bad for a very long time. And that had a devastating effect on every aspect of my life.
With the little energy and focus I had, I hunted for answers. In fact I spent twenty YEARS trawling for answers. You can just imagine the trying, and stumbling, the desperation and frustration...
But now I've seen BOTH extremes of life... from wanting to die every day to the joy of health and happiness. The truth is that all my suffering drives me with a passion to help you not to suffer. Why I can't say, because it's just there, in me.
So don't make the same mistakes I did. Life is too short... I want you to feel good without falling into the pitfalls. I have this knowledge now and I would love you to have it.
It's all laid out for you in a simple step-by-step guide...
