Love is not a habit. Love is the deepest essence of who you are.
We say “it’s second nature” when we mean something has become automatic. It’s something learned that we no longer need to give our conscious effort to. When it’s become HABIT.
Well if HABIT is our second nature, what is our first nature?
Our first nature is LOVE.
It’s UNCONDITIONAL love. It’s a love so pure and blissful that nothing can touch it. And when you know it for the first time, you will know it as HOME.
To know it you have to go beyond habit, beyond the noise of the mind. Beyond mind itself.
You have to make the mind so still that there is not even a whisper. Then if you are patient, you will know who you are. Love… home.
But you cannot even want it. Because the very wanting is a movement of mind.
Meditation is the way, to practice being still until you get very good at it, practice consistently every day.
Then you will not only know yourself to BE love, but you will be truly happy.
