I have definitely done every diet! So, I follow your diet and advice and call it done… It works, I have been great!
Omigod I realized what a small little mind I have! HA! Where did you get this ability to distill all of this complex stuff into such simple straight forward answers!? Honestly you are like an interpreter… and I have to say THANK YOU! I get it! Now I know the real truth!!! Really I have concluded I am finally FREE.
Thanks for the clarity, candour, and compassion: your calm resonates and is just oh, so reassuring! That is what I just love about Habit Guide. You have no need to promote some particular viewpoint — just the truth with integrity… Love your honesty and humanity. And, damn you make everything just so simple! That is your talent you know. Everyone I run into is going to hear about Habit Guide!!!
Thank you Mike and James for Habit Guide! I have been reading each step with interest. I think I am very fortunate and am appreciating being armed with these tools to help me with my own personal drive to achieve my health goals. I now have some for the first time in 50 years!!
You know sometimes the message is there but folk have a dry way of passing it on.. it doesn’t work for me then! You’re both such lovely characters and you deliver the whole Habit Guide in such an endearing way, its lovely.
A wealth of knowledge about healthy living presented in an easy, friendly format. Thanks for bringing some order in my chaos :-)
Great book… Mike’s a great writer.

Hi, I just finished reading your book Habit Guide. I really thought it was excellent, useful information. I already know that anyone who follows your advice will be successful.

Read it, love it!!!
I ~~love~~ Habit Guide! Your writing style is excellent and the content is really helpful. It’s certainly one of those books that I will be re-reading… I love it!! I can only imagine the amount of time and effort that went into that.
Fed up with not knowing which way to jump when it comes to your nutrition? Check out Habit Guide. It’s comprehensive in a number of ways and is well worth the read and the resulting afterthought that goes with it.

Thanks Mike for a great book! It really is the first I have seen that actually addresses the whys and hows of our habits.
It is also sound from a psychological therapy stand point, (I am a psychologist, but I am certainly not immune to my own bad habits around food!). I really got a lot out of reading Habit Guide today and plan to put it into action!
It’s smart and savvy information in a very user friendly format. As a psychologist I found the guide beautifully simple and on-target. Thanks for this pearl of wisdom. You are fabulous! Please let me know how I can ever assist you in the future, your work is dead-on.

With Habit Guide as a trusty resource, you *can* get in shape, and finally become master of your habits once and for all.
They have some truly unique insights to share, and I really feel that the guide makes for very interesting reading. Habit Guide truly is a wonderful resource, and I highly recommend it to all!

It’s in answering the question of how to live well that Habit Guide fits so perfectly. Mike has developed a brilliant resource that provides a roadmap to building good habits. A two week blitz of eating perfectly and exercising is not going to change your health long-term.
Instead it’s through building habits — daily and weekly practices — that you can change your health… which is the beauty of Habit Guide.

Having tried to change everything in one go before (and then giving up cos it all seemed too hard) this guide has helped me realise that I was being too unrealistic. I think Habit Guide will help me set better goals for myself-so thanks!
Habit Guide is a good hard look at how to make good habits and I think it goes hand and hand with this whole overwhelming diet feeling a lot of us have.
I just get excited when I am able to read a book now, nod my head and say, yup, that is it, that’s what I did. Now it makes sense!
Hi Mike and James,
I bought the book and am already loving it. I am one of those people who always says “That’s a nice thought, but HOW do I do it?” I need the step-by-step breakdown and this is full of what I need.
Thanks!
I just read Habit Guide. It’s easy to read, use and navigate through and it’s suitable for anyone who wants better health.
My favorite part of the book is ‘Understand the power of habit’. That part gave me a few ‘Aha!’-moments as it brought up things I knew about (but that I never really gave any thought to) in a new light. You can tell that you have life experience.
Your book is excellent. I am not done reading yet, but what I have read so far is excellent. The book is well organized, excellent thought process.
You have nailed important root cause, the bad habit, and if we all go back and analyse our bad habits it is a good start.
It is too bad that marketing is letting people over look that, and tries to fix many issues with supplements like weight, and the one that kills me the most is wrinkles, lol. Thank you!
You’re very clear and readable on some deep psychological issues on habit formation. And you make the processes that go on in the brain easily understandable.
One concept made me think about completely new ways I can quit my bad habits. You’ve got a no-nonsense way of keeping it simple and just getting it done. But not only that, you show us how to make the good stuff fun and easy! And that’s what we all need, isn’t it?
Hi James
Thank you for your kind response to my email. It was reassuring to discover that there is an actual real live person there instead of the plastic nonentity that one is up against with a lot of websites!
I have bought and had a quick look this evening at the Habit Guide. It is very clearly and thoughtfully set out and I shall look forward to studying it in more depth.
Best wishes
Elisabeth
Anybody and everybody should read Habit Guide. Whoever reads it will be very thankful to the author, Mr. Mike Kinnaird.
This is a fantastic guide to improving your lifestyle. It provides some really clear and simple advice to help you change for good. A really good book to read if you’ve struggled to stick to a plan.
Habit Guide is more than just another run of the mill book. It isn’t a fad diet or quick fix. It is a complete system that details how you can live a healthy and happy life forever. This is accomplished by changing your habits for good.
With the help of the wisdom found in Habit Guide, you can look and feel great every single day. The book is laid out in an easy to follow step-by-step format. If you follow these steps, you will succeed and the results will be beyond your expectations.
More than just telling you what to do, Habit Guide shows you how to do it. There is help for everyone available. There is an emphasis on living simply, which we can all benefit from. The ability to feel good is something everyone is seeking and is one of the major benefits Habit Guide can provide.
The solutions provided within this book are real and targeted towards real people. It isn’t some obscure or unrealistic theory, but a real and applicable system that will transform the way you think about your habits.
Habit Guide does not make outrageous claims or promise results that cannot be obtained. Instead, it provides clarity and gives you a fantastic basis for becoming healthy. The money you spend on this book will be the best investment you can make for your happiness.
Habit Guide is a true gem, empowering you to take your life into your own hands.
Habit Guide is an excellent ‘quick-start’ to move from despairing over a long term negative habit to actually ‘doing’ something to overcome it! The practical, friendly and sometimes humorous advice in these pages are akin to having a gentle teacher/personal trainer who helps you get started. Habit Guide accompanies you on the journey of ridding ourselves of repetitive, destructive habits that do not provide the relief we seek but rather, accumulate even more unhappiness and frustration in their path. Get started, get living, get in the HABIT!

I found quite informative the chapter in the Habit Guide about living in the moment. I’m going to try to make living in the moment my priority. Thank you for your guide.
Terry
Ah… the new edition of Habit Guide is as inspirational as the first, still written in that easy to understand, humorous way, and packed with knowledge in that to the point style that we have all come to know and love from Mike. Congratulations on showing the way forward to a healthy and joy filled life. Happy days for one and all :-)
Thank you Mike and James, its very much appreciated by me. Keep the pen rolling :-)
Habit Guide is one of the best books that I have read. I was motivated to act from the very first line. I am a Bach Flower Remedy Practitioner and in my work I find that it is the habits of behaviour that block us and hold us back.
Habits can be difficult to break especially if we do not even realise we have them. Habit guide is a tool that you can use to help you to recognise your blocks and habits. Personally I have found the information invaluable and I will pass its message on to my clients. I feel that I would not be offering a complete service if I did not share the knowledge about this guide.
Mike you have a brilliant way of saying things. It is like someone flipped the switch (you) and and now I know that health is the most important thing and I can choose to abuse or support my body. It is easy to remember the key points and to put them into action. Certainly for me I think that they are brilliant, classic, unique, I just think that they are so simple so easy to put into place.
For example, I always have chocalate after dinner and lunch and have wanted to break this habit for years, even when on a detox I have eaten chocolate. I have taken sugar craving supplements and defied them. So I decided to try out the Habit Guide technique and it worked. It has worked for three days now. I am thrilled!
I have 2-3 cups of coffee a day and physically know that they are no good for me and never manage to stay off it for long and it is always difficult. So I tried the Habit Guide technique on this one and I laughed out loud at work when coffee break came … It is brilliant, it really works!
This was really brilliant, normally I have them and I feel guilty and I eat more anyway because I deserve them or my cravings win out. I know that I will break these habits now which is brilliant.
Overall you have created a masterpiece. You are going to change so many peoples lives with this book.
Great book, well done.

The habit guide is AMAZING!!! Cant rate it enough. Thank you so much Mike and James. I lost 6 stone (roughly 84 pounds to our American friends!) by using the guide. And I’m happier than ever. I never realised before how habitual I was and how those habits were contributing to my state of health. So using the guide I replaced my bad habits for good ones. I love being active now. And eating well seems like second nature. Before I thought I was destined to be sat on the sofa being fat but the guide TOTALLY changed my mindset.
I cant rate it highly enough. You guys are doing such great work. Some people dont even recognise me now (which I love).
Thank you SO much guys. I know there is at least one man in the world whose life has been TRANSFORMED by your wisdom… ie ME!!
Thanks buddies!!
A good tool for all aspects of life management.
Making even simple lifestyle changes can be hard, but help is available. Mike Kinnaird struggled with his own serious health issues for thirteen years. Out of his experience, he has written Habit Guide. I have read his book and believe his advice is excellent.
This is a very useful guide to building good habits. I recommend it highly for anyone who wishes to work on improving any kind of habit!

Mike/James:
I’ve been reading numerous books over the past few years as I’ve tried to get my life back to the way it once was. While a number of them had some very good parts, ALL of them were lacking in some other aspect. Habit Guide is one of the best, most comprehensive pieces I’ve ever read. THANK YOU for putting it all together in such a clear and percise way! Especially the part on Meditation; for me at least, this is the KEY for me getting back to where I once was (or even better, reaching a level never attained!).
It’s a testament to you and Habit Guide that even professional health care givers like doctors find it so useful.
DEFINITELY the best thing I have ever read, and gotten the most out of.
Thanks again for everything… it’s helped more than you will know.
Drew
In spite of the fact that you may genuinely want to feel better and have more energy and vitality, the effort this takes can be daunting, especially if you’ve tried and failed in the past.
For some people living a healthy lifestyle seems so effortless, yet you may be finding every little change represents sacrifice and hard slog. Even keeping a positive mindset can be tough when you’re feeling depressed or not so good about yourself.
There must be a better way!
You’ll find a brilliantly articulated answer to this question in this short, but powerful book entitled Habit Guide: How to be Happy and Healthy.
This work is a well-researched blueprint for developing constructive lifestyle habits. By first addressing the psychology behind our destructive habits, author Mike Kinnaird helps us understand so much more about ourselves and the processes involved.
In less than an hour you’ll gain rare insight into why habit is such a powerful force and how we can get our natural inclinations to work for us.
I am always on the lookout for little gems of information … unique perspectives that help me learn more about myself and about the science of wellness. This was certainly a pleasant surprise… informative, good value and to the point.
I enjoyed what I read and believe it to be a product that can really make people’s lives better. Great work!
Mike – thank you for what you do and for helping me be the person that I am. At some level, I think we all know most of the information you write about, but it is tucked away – so very far away – that we no longer know it.
As I read Habit Guide, I’m saying/thinking things like “of course!” or “yes – I know”. I repeatedly think “that’s what I thought”. I smile and begin to incorporate what you write and what I am rediscovering, into my life and I am a happier person for it!
I believe validation is one of the most important and helpful things a person can give someone. You have given me validation and I now live a better – happier life. Thank you! I personally have always had a problem with feeling validated (guess its something from my childhood). You have helped me see that my core beliefs are actually correct!
Maybe it is something we are born with – like ancient knowledge but like I said, it is buried sooo deep that most of us cannot tap into it. Through your writing, I believe we can all get in touch with our true self.
Keep it up – who knows where this all could lead!

I recently found and started using the Habit Guide to cure my body and brain. It is beautiful, excellent information. LOVE IT AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND this fabulous book!
I just wanted to say that since I read this board and purchased the guide that to date I have had no issues at all. What you wrote cured me and I am totally amazed by it. I am so impressed with the results, I feel totally different and peaceful.
I would love to know where you got all your information from, as I have seen so many health professionals over my problems, but none has ever come close to the advice that you give. Thanks Mike you have honestly changed my life.
John’s comment refers to being cured of OCD
Thank you Mike! I look forward to reading and learning from your guide. Thank you for your contribution in writing it! I will certainly share your link with all my friends, associates and loved ones.
Warmest regards,
Gabriele
Loved the book! You can never have enough positive motivation. Keep up the great work, you are inspirational.
Kind Regards,
Sue
First of all, I would like to thank you for your book “Habit Guide”. It really did motivate me but now with my busy schedule and the book out of sight, out of mind, I have fallen into the same old bad habits again. Thank you for encouraging me. I will do as you say and re-read the book over and over until I own it. Again thank you.

I appreciate this program, I got more out of it than any others offered… It is the best program I’ve ever been on.
Georgia’s comment refers to a Habit Guide program run by her employer
I didn’t get the chance to thank you for your book. I really believe the secret behind being happy is to live the basic life that we have been given in accordance to our nature, i.e no bad food, good sleep, spirituality, get organized, exercise and few other things.
I find it sad how many people think our current daily life is the “way of nature” and to do exercise, eat fruits and get more organised is an “added bonus”. The truth says this is our way of life and that’s how it is suppose to be, our ancestors lived this life and it was a healthy life.
Wow, I really can’t thank you enough for helping me out and giving me great advice. It means a lot to me. I’m going to take everything you said to me and apply it to my daily life. Life is really too short to be anything but happy. You’re much better than a therapist. All they do is prescribe meds and tell you to give them money. I appreciate this greatly. I really can’t believe a person as caring as you would take the time to reach out to all these people that you don’t know. You’re great. :-)
Sometimes it is easier to blame something else, rather than take responsibility for myself, and be in charge of me. It is scary to think I may be causing my problems, and on the other hand, it is power to know it is me who can do something about me! I choose to use the power!
Man, oh man, I love you! You are dead on. You are so right about the thought process behind changing habits, and now I feel so excited to really read Habit Guide with ‘new eyes’ that are Finally Free to really benefit from the wisdom contained in it!!
Thanks Mike, I would reach through the internet and give ya a huge hug if I could!!
Hello,
I wasn’t sure whether or not this was the proper way to give a comment, but I simply wanted to say Thank You. Habit Guide is wonderful and truly does help. As a recent college graduate amidst an economic meltdown, I felt my uneasy emotions settling in, luckily I’m greeted with Habit Guide that is not only motivating but eye opening as well.
It’s nice to have someone who is willing to spread the knowledge and joy! May God continue blessing you through out this wonderful journey called Life.
All the way from San Francisco CA,
Crystal
Thanks for the positive attitude you have brought out in me. I am forever grateful.
Kind regards,
Steve O’Neill
I downloaded the newest update of Habit Guide last night and started to read it. I have to admit, I’ve got 3 other copies of the guide, all past updates, but I never really READ the thing.
I have to say, I am truly impressed with what I’ve read so far. I can’t wait to read the rest. Thank you so much. What you have to say in the guide makes so much sense I can’t imagine why I didn’t “get it” before. Brain freeze maybe?
Thanks again.
Rose
Thanks Mike
This week I have decided to get my eating habits & exercise back in order. Thanks for Habit Guide, it really does help. Hope you’re going well. Love your work!
Sue :-)
Hello Mike
Its really a pleasure to tell you how much your “Habit guide” help me to bring a turning point in my life. It really helps to focus on positive things in life.
You know what, even if we are aware of the fact that we should be positive and to be optimistic to be healthy, wealthy etc etc …. which our elders used to tell us, but at some point of time when we face some kind of setbacks, failures, out of control situations, we begin to accept that life is really hard, its not easy, it’s a pain to get through etc etc.
But the good thing about “Habit Guide” is that its like a sweet reminder to let us rethink and feel that its all about our attitude and our thoughts and it gives a positive energy to get back to life… and start thinking ” Oh! I need to change my attitude towards life and need to think and feel good so have all the good things in life” and IT REALLY WORKS…
Thank you Mike. Its really pleasure to read your work.
Thanks and Regards,
Suchitra
Hi Mike,
The information you provide is really really helpful. It is certainly inspiring. Your advices and instructions have helped me deal with many of my bad habits especially eating disorders. It doesn’t matter any more if I am losing weight or not but it feels so good being able to get rid of the bad eating habits and replace them with the good ones and I am sure that eventually I will lose weight as well.
Thanks for all your support, God bless you.
RR
Hi Mike, I have been inspired. My life has changed so much in the last ten years — it felt like I was walking on sand and the sand was been washed away from under my feet and I had no control. So far I have lost 1st in weight with another to go, and I feel more confident about the future.
Kindest Regards,
Ann
Mike,
Habit Guide has helped me to make changes… so far in small things like earlier bed times, replacing a bad habit of TV watching with reading and early bed time… small steps

Hi Mike,
I would like to thank you for the wonderful Habit Guide. All this has certainly helped me overcome my problems/confusions.
Thanks and all the best.

Hi Mike,
So enjoy Habit Guide for which I truly thank you.
Information + suggestions concise + excellently presented; + when read + reread makes common sense-something some of us short on, mea culpa.
I have used your advice/tactics in many situations, to my benefit, again warmest thanks.
With renewed thanks + good wishes,
Kind regards,
Nuala
Thank you for Habit Guide. Every day in every way gets better and better and better.
I found all the information very helpful in changing the ways I’ve been living. I never knew that habits was the cause of most of my problems, but now that I know, I am making all the changes necessary to break my old habits, although hard, I find it easy via your method of introducing a new good habit.
This is the best script I’ve read in a long long time, thank you so much.
It should be read in + copies permanently displayed at every school in the country — get the upcoming generation early thus preventing problems rather than struggling to cure them later.
The natural conditions you mention are available to us, in abundance, free of charge.
Sincere thanks again, keep up the good work.
Regards,
Nuala
thanks for the wisdoms. Going to help me alot, den.
Dear Mike,
I feel very much happy to read out the Habit Guide. it makes me feel good and bold. love you and thanks.

I can honestly say I’m happy now. Once in a while I’ll have have some unwanted thoughts but its improved 99%!
You guys really helped me. You seriously did. I’ve actually told a lot of people about how Habit Guide has helped me. My fiance followed the diet and got all the benefits you said a person would get.
Thanks and hope you guys are doing great!
Happy Matt =)
p.s. I can’t believe how much this worked…
i have been slowly but surely showing improvement with the help of tips, techniques, and ur suggestions. your help is of immense help for me and infuse a new ray of hope in my life. really really thank u. i have taken valuable information from ur habit guide. presently i am working on eliminating my bad deep groove habit with the newer ones. and i have acheived a lot in my efforts.
Hi Sir
my thoughts have become very much reduced in frequency and they have lost their power and don’t trouble me anymore. and it’s all because of one technique only and now i can just imagine the power lying in the rest of habit guide. i will probably be the happiest person on earth.
i am sharing my experiences with other people having O.C.D. on internet and telling them about your book and trying to help them as i got it when i needed it the most.
sir, you have changed my life. and all that i can say is ‘THANK YOU’.
Hey Mike, I love hearing the feedback on your Habit Guide, it must make you smile every day knowing there are heaps of us out there the richer for knowing you and sharing your found wisdom :)
Take care,
Cathy
I have just re-read the habit guide Mike and printed off the diet sheets. I feel so full of optimism again. I am reading the habit guide bit by bit each day and had forgotten how inspiring it is. Thank you so much for producing it. It is so simple to read and all I need now is to change the bad habits!!!
I am treating it as my bible back to health now.
Bless you Mike… you are an inspiration.
Thank You so much. You are very correct in everything you say. I am 36 now and my problem began with my one and only panic attack 2 years ago. During the attack, I hallucinated and the thought day by day started to take over my life.
Meditation has been the best thing to calm me. I want to thank you for what you are doing because I have had two years to realise that the thought can destroy your self image and your general perspective on life and who you are.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring enough about humanity to help these people and myself.
I have been studying along this line for about 40 years now (since my early 20s) and in the early days the subject was not received very well.
But, now, with the good work by people such as you, Mike, the word can be spread around with a greater urgency and I think that this generation is ‘ready’ to learn that which has been missing from our educational systems.
Keep up the good work!
walt
I have read and studied health and diet, and self help material for years and I believe you have captured the secret that everyone needs to bring them to happiness.
Blessings and much success.
Dottie
Thank you so much for reinforcing this idea and sharing from your heart. You have taken your dark and painful past and made it a light to the world.
Here’s to Happy Habits.
Thanks Mark
EXCELLENT. I am ready for the challenge. I feel great that I have such a wonderful resource such as Habit Guide.
Wishing you a wonderful day!
Mary Beth :)
Hey Mike! Everything is going great. I feel amazing, I really do. I’ve lost about 15 pounds since I started to add healthier foods into my diet and walking for about an hour a couple times a week.
I haven’t done a serious meditation in a while but whenever I feel stress I just find somewhere that’s quiet, breathe deeply for a bit and tell myself it will all work out. I’m in a much different place then I was a couple months ago. I noticed as I got happier the people that I spend a lot of time around were happier and people in general seemed to enjoy my company more.
Thank you guys again, I know I’ve said that dozens of times but… thank you. Hope your holiday season is going great and you and your loved ones are healthy and happy.
habit guide has become a turning point in my life. i was a night-owl and was struggling to make it a habit to get up early. and by learning the principles and methods of developing new habits i’m finally able to do so.
i used to eat lots of junk food but now i eat only healthy stuff and so i’m always full of energy and i feel really GOOD..by using ‘distraction’ i’m able to focus better and am finally in a state where i can control my thoughts to a great extent.
your methods have helped me tremendously in all other dimensions of my life. and I AM EXTREMELY GRATEFUL TO YOU.
My problem is unwanted thoughts. i read your section on it and it actually helped a lot, before that i didnt know my mind had that kind of power!
thanx mike and james. thanx for getting me out of the xroads. i now know living is more important than having. dennis
I saw a psychologist about half a dozen times about 6 years ago when I first got my OCD…she was nice, but to be honest, totally useless…you’re 100 times better… :-)
Hi! Mike & James
Great Work. I intend to start today by changing my BAD habits to GOOD habits. I have tried so many diets & cant stick to one so I am going to do my best to follow your advice.
Its high time some-one put out info on this sort of thing I personally think companys feed us alot of Bull S…t on what is good for us & infact its killing us. Its hard to believe whats good & whats bad.
Keep up the good work. Have A Nice Day
Cheers
Elizabeth Rose
Hi Mike!!!
Thank You very much… You done and are doing a great “job” … this is only because for You it isn’t only a job is LIFE!!! And that’s great!! Thank You very much!!!
… and it sooo great to me to come in contact with people who think the same, have probably the same (bad) experience and do and did the best of it: to LIVE and to show out the way to a better now and a even better tomorrow. For everyone… especially to our children. There are so much of “us”!! And that is good!!!
Always Motivation!!!!
Thank You again!!!! :)))))
MIKE KINNAIRD, You have stumbled on the key thing to make us ALL happy people again!
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MIKE, I wont forget your name and will be eager for anything you might release in the years to come :D
Hey Mike, I’m a lot more calm than I was, as I’ve slowly learnt to relax. I’m slowly starting to chill out and get a hold of my thoughts.
I’m really grateful for Habit Guide. I’ve recommended it to a family friend, who also finds herself slipping into irrational thinking. Hopefully, your great advice will help her.
Thank you so much and God bless! xx
I have known Mike since our children were about five. I had suffered with OCD for a long time since my mid-twenties.
I confided in Mike about my anxieties and thoughts on food. He advised me how to deal with this. I couldn’t believe that it could be so simple, so I continued for years more trying to solve the problem, to rationalize it, only making things worse and worse…
Even with a psychologist and Mike advising me how to get better I continued to give the problem more and more attention.
Many anti-depressants later, even anti-psychotic drugs I was in a worse situation than ever, on the verge of losing my job, home, sanity and daughter. I had to try something else…
Mike spent hour after hour on the phone convincing me of what needed to be done and how his method could achieve this.
I finally committed to his method. It wasn’t easy because the responsibility rested on me, but the method couldn’t be more simple, luckily for me or I wouldn’t have made it.
Two months of committment and determination and I’m living a normal life with a normal relationship with food and getting better every day. Two months… after twenty years of misery.
A miracle. Seems like one to me.
Really looking forward to reading through the latest version of Habit Guide. It’s always a great resource.

I loved the guide! Really inspiring!
I was really struggling a few months ago but now I am eating better and starting to build the life I want to live, slowly incorporating things like meditation, pilates, walks around the botanical gardens and writing. I feel like I’m back to my natural state of positivity!
I’ve just directed my friend to your site. She’s going through some tough times… very focused on the future and achieving and doing! I am trying to get her to focus more on being instead…
Thank you very much for your words of wisdom! I think one of the first steps in beginning the healing process is to realize you are not the ONLY one… THANKS
you have lightened my outlook and i feel amazing, thank you
I try and get your message out there and would love to do a similar thing with my mums and babies i see all the time. Trying to get parents to show their kids good habits so they are set up from birth. Anything I can ever contribute or help you with i would love to!!
I have been limiting my eating and have even lost several pounds. I am glad for how Habit Guide got me started on this path of acknowledging how I had been eating.
Habits do run my world. I’m learning to build new ones. Thanks for the insights.
Carolyn
I can’t thank you enough for your advice and I am keeping strong and optimistic because of you. I appreciate your time more than you know and I love your book.
Habit Guide is an ideal mix of punchy and slick. The information is presented like smooth hills where you’re taken easily from one point to the next. It’s just nice… a good and easy read.
It’s succinct which is very much appreciated! No waffle… Just stated how it is, as simply and completely as possible.
Whenever I read anything like this, I always have this kind of background tension of “Is this going to be a lot of work?” But I’m relieved to have got to page 36 and I haven’t been asked to do anything yet — it’s great :-)
It’s so true that what you put your attention on is so important… I’d never really thought about it before.
Most books only have one or two things you can take away from them but Habit Guide is full of them. It’s a book of gems.
Thank you Mike your work is a blessing to me
God bless
I’m very happy to hear the Habit Guide insights and other ppl talk about their stories. It helps and makes me feel better that I’m not the only person like this. So thank u!!! U are truly saving ppls lives :)
Thanks Again
Jae
All important points covered by a wonderful, wise wordsmith :-)
Hello! Your guide has helped me sleep so much! I wanted to thank you! I used to not be able to go to bed at night. I would sit and cry. Thank you again!
Thank you for saving my life. I don’t mean that lightly. If you only ever made a difference to me and made my daughter happy, stopped my family worrying and let me live, then you have made a difference. I would like to help other people. Let me know if I can help or reassure any of the people you’re trying to help. Would like to give something back. x
I am chronicling my experiences with depression and how I am beating my own Black Dog into submission. At fifty-four I am finally seeing the fog clearing and the sun shines even on the greyest of days.
My glass is no longer half empty but nearly full. Health and family issues together with bad choices in career moves has caused me great consternation to my family and I since my late twenties. Now after three decades I feel I am growing into my real self.
Your book has played a part in putting some important pieces in their place. These pieces were lying there, like parts of a jigsaw but after reading your book I found the gaps in the puzzle.
Many thanks,
Graham Armstrong
Lovely to see Habit Guide in print now, well done, that is a massive feat and I couldn’t wish it for a nicer pair of guys :-))) What a gift to pass on to my children. Thanks again :-)
Love the habit guide!
Habit Guide is really good! It’s inspiring. It makes you want to change your habits. I like the way it says ‘Discover the happiness secret’ at the bottom of every page in that chapter, it reminds you of what you’re reading about. It’s so easy to read, I’m already a good way through it.
By the way, I usually have trouble getting to sleep but on Day 1, even with no other lifestyle changes, I used your “sleep well — switch” technique 2 or 3 times when my mind drifted and I don’t remember being awake for long.
You deserve some kinda reward. I’m not sure what it is though. I can’t Thank You enough for what you do. I think there is a special place in Heaven for someone who helps all of the folks that just fall off the track somewhere.
I know from being a very confident individual for 33 years, that it doesn’t take a ton of stress to fall off the correct path. Glad to be back on top. Just wanted to say that it’s noticed, the compassion you share.
mike, yesterday was amazing it was the only time in 3 years i felt like this. i really felt the inner peace, i really was happy, i felt i wanna cry from happiness.
will it always be like this? i hope its just the beginning… i will not lie and tell u i am totally well, but i feel different and i dont feel the waves i told u about anymore.
So I bought your habit guide a while back & though I was impressed with it’s succinct & clear approach, I pretty much tossed it in my (ridiculously large) ‘when I have time’ pile.
What just struck me, however, is the growing impact of the periodic emails. The one I just received served as a prompt to revisit your site & read what you had to say about anxiety (which has been seriously kicking my ASS for a while now).
The info I found was profound. Much of it I knew already, but the ‘disengage from the trigger’ data & the reminder to get up and MOVE my body just now hit me… hard and in a very useful, uplifting manner.
*THANK YOU* (< an understatement!)
Hand-bagable self help Fab! This is the first self help book I’ve read cover to cover (has less than 100 pages) AND thought afterwards ‘yes, I can do that’!
Step by step guide to getting yourself from sick and sluggish to happy and healthy without unnecessary information which only serves to bore and distract you from the best advice I’ve read in a LONG time!
Shall keep in handbag and will flip through daily/show to friends, may even present it to my Doctor. Happy reading folks!
Habit Guide is simple and precise. In our world of so much information overload where do you begin to understand why you are not finding happiness? We seem to get caught up and just let our thoughts go wild and run our lives.
It can be much easier than that and “Habit Guide” gives you a place to start and take control. It gives you a solid foundation to identify and begin addressing important areas one by one.
I use it as a simple outline to prioritize what I spend my time doing and how to organize and enjoy it. This is a well written, simple, and fun book!
Everyone wants to be healthy, or?! In and Out-?!! So read this book! Wunderful people :)))
Everyone of us is always in some kind of stress, everyone of us knows, how to live and how not! But what we are doing? Are we so responsable to ourself, like we are on work, like we want this from others?
I think this book helps everyone of us — to be clear again. To remind this, what we anyway know!
Love and Hugs to You and Yours!!
Jasminka with Family :)))
It truly IS a guide to better health. Having suffered from poor sleep and anxiety for a numbers of years now, I must say that HABIT GUIDE has helped me immensely.
One of the great things about this book is that it doesn’t just deal with “one” aspect of your life, but the TOTAL spectrum, which I find is rare. The book takes you step by step towards better health, and a better LIFE as a result.
The fact that the author, Mike Kinnaird, himself went through a personal crisis of his own which led to the creation of this book also lends a level of credibility other such self-help books are often lacking (see the introduction).
If you are suffering from fatigue, anxiety, depression, or are just not in a “happy place”, I suggest you look no further than Habit Guide if you seriously want to take back your life!
I bought this book as an ebook and it may have very well saved my life. I was on a downward spiral and after reading Habit Guide, I knew I needed to change.
I am so happy that it is out in hard copy and plan on buying several copies to give to family and friends. Everyone should have a chance to be healthy and happy and this book is the key.
Thank you Mike Kinnaird! You saved my life!
