Sam’s Three Wishes

Max 'n' Sam

Changing your life is partly about being crystal clear about what you want.

I was walking with my 11 year old son Sam and our dog, Max just the other day.

“If you could have three wishes, what would they be?” I said to Sam…

Of course, at first he said he’d wish for more wishes!

And then I, of course, explained that you can’t wish for more wishes :-)

Well, it turned out that his first two wishes were the same as mine! Surprisingly, it took him no time at all to come up with the three…

Best three wishes

Well, I don’t know about you but I think those are great wishes!

I think Sam was pleased with his list. He said…

“Well, the first wish covers any other thing you might want.”

I’ve noticed that a lot of kids these days show amazing insights at such a young age. I see many grown ups that still haven’t figured out that the ultimate prize is simply happiness and have attached quite a lot of “conditions” on what they need to be happy. I know I was like that.

All the best,

  1. Lexie

    I would wish for…

    beauty
    long hair
    better personality

  2. Hi Lexie,

Why those things? Because you know you will FEEL better having them. So really, all we want is to feel good.

Just imagine how you will feel having those things and keep practising that feeling. You’ll get really good at it… and who knows, you might even make your wish come true, I hope so.

    Mike
